The day after Michael's birthday, Justin and I celebrated seven years of marriage! Wow! Seems like we were barely just celebrating our fifth anniversary with a one-day old newborn at Saddleback Hospital and here we already are, two years later!
With our anniversary falling on a Sunday, we decided it would be perfect to indulge in Tustin Ranch's Sunday Champagne Brunch! Unfortunately, the main dining room (where our reception was held) and where the brunch is normally held, was hosting another event (apparently, that happens once a year and this year it fell on our anniversary...what luck), but honestly, that didn't have the least bit affect on our celebration:) So, off we went with our kiddos in tow, to indulge in an incredibly YUMMY feast!
I had not been back since our wedding day (JP has on numerous occasions for golf outings), so it was really fun to re-live that special day! What made it even more awesome was walking Hailey around and showing her exactly where each picture she's seen took place (and Michael too, but let's face it, he hadn't a clue as to why we were really there)! Hailey was SO into it! Needless to say, we had a blast!
It was just CRAZY to stand at the EXACT spot we said our vows, seven years before, and reflect upon ALLLL that has taken place in our lives! Wow!!!! Pretty overwhelming and awe-struck to think of all that has occurred!
Love this ride we're on and can't wait to see where the next road takes us! xoxo
The Executive Chef that cooked for our Reception remembered us and came out to say "hello," and asked us to hold on bc he was working on something for us...well, he surprised us with this little delicacy! So fun!
Re-enacting "the walk"
Michael contemplating how he can make his escape down to the golf course!
Pretending to be the Flower Girl and Ring Bearer
Still looks just as pretty, seven years later...
HAPPY!
Ha! This one cracks me up...if this isn't tell-tale of our life these days, I don't know what is! (aka- a rambunctious two-year old, in the background!)
Feeding the ducks! The staff had given us some bread for the kids to throw.
