A couple months before his birthday, Michael discovered his love for Toy Story! He was adament he wanted a "Toy Story 3" birthday party (note: it's not just "Toy Story" in this house, it's "Toy Story 3" or "Toy Story Free," as Michael says). We opted for a "small" family bbq, although, with both sides of our families, the term "small" goes right out the window...and I LOVE it that way! The more, the merrier!!
Where else do we go to throw a party when it involves a jump house?? Gigi and Poppy's house, of course! There is not a more perfect backyard to throw such a party and the fact that my kids will also have the same fond memories in that backyard that I have from growing up, makes my heart do a little dance:) Bless my grandparents' hearts for always being SO willing and welcoming to having a house full of people.
I have to say, that his party was a complete success...lots of yummy food, catching up with all our family, a jumphouse, a SnoCone vendor and a fun announcement = perfection:)
Announcing that another little BOY is on his way...we had just found out two days prior that we were expecting another boy:) It was neat to have it work out to have the entire family together to make one giant announcement!
