Love Day

Going out of order here, but let's go back to my favorite holiday...Valentines Day! Our day included an adventurous trip to Krispy Kremes (and by "adventurous," I mean waiting in line for over 20min with a 20mo-old. Enough said.). Next, we threw in an impromptu visit to the pediatrician to find out that Hailey had a pretty gnarly ear infection- poor girl!  Later that night, we had "the Fluffies" over for a "romantic" spaghetti dinner;)  It has become a tradition for us (Fluffies and us) to spend V-day together because let's face it, how many people with kids are really able to go wine and dine in a restaurant on actual Valentines Day?

Excuse the "rigged" dining room set...I really need to make up my mind on chairs!  Oh, and get a table cloth to actually fit, perhaps;)  One thing at a time, one thing at a time...

Still smiling, even with a pounding ear ache!  (Sidenote:  If you're wondering about the green, Penguin shirt...well, she woke up in a grumpy mood(all made sense after going to the dr) and insisted on this dumb shirt.  Me, after going to battle (and finally throwing my hands up to surrender) decided not to "sweat the small stuff" and let her wear the "totally-anti love day-rebellious-GREEN-shirt."
