Summer started off with Gaga and Grandpa visiting for a full week (yay!). It was a perfect week for them to come...last day of school, Michael's bday, letting us sneak away for our Anniversary, All-Star baseball game for Michael and a few other excursions we snuck in while they were here:)

June 3rd...Justin and I snuck away for 24 hours to the Ritz in downtown Dallas. It was heavenly!! Happy 12 years of marriage to us:)

We took a day trip to Cedar Creek Lake (about 1:45hours from our house). They loved it just as much as us.

We were all SOO excited when we learned that Gaga and Gpa would be here for Michael's All Star games! Sadly, one got rained out, but luckily they still were able to come and cheer him on for the other game. I know they've missed watching him play, so this was such a treat! Michael tried out for the All Star team in May and thankfully, it was such a positive experience for him! Our town is definitely a "baseball town!"
The day after Gaga and Gpa left, I took the kids to Pump It Up, to burn off some energy;) We topped it off with a lunch date and declared it a perfect summer outing!
Friday night (6/9), our neighborhood held a "Music on the Lawn" event and we walked down for dinner and some music/playing/dancing. It was Michael's sweet friend's birthday that day, so after the event, we went back to their house for cake and ice cream:)
Whew, week #1 of summer down...I think it's going to be a GREAT one!
