Easter 2013

With Easter being the 31st of March, this year, it really crept up on me!  Hailey's class put on a great play depicting the true meaning of Easter.  Afterwards, all of the families had a "picnic" together, in the Kindergarten classrooms.  We were thrilled that Daddy was able to join us (thank you Lord, for his new job!!!!!).

We also joined in our annual Easter celebration/brunch in our old neighborhood, as well as our community's Spring Celebration (all the weekend before).  The kids had a blast running around with cousin Karis at the Spring Celebration! :)

The actual day of Easter was a BUSY one...church in the morning and two family gatherings throughout the day.  Oh, and two days before Easter, I was "graced" (or smacked in the face, is more what it felt like) with the usual Morning Sickness...yahoo...not.  Needless to say, attempting to put on a "happy, I-feel-great face" (since we hadn't let the 'cat out of the bag' on the pregnancy) was tricky!
