Sunday 2/28
Just another GORGEOUS Sunday! JP took the kiddos across to the high school, while I spruced up the house and got some laundry done. Then, I always head over too and finish playing with them. We all are LOVING this fun weekend tradition!
Okay, this is hilarious! Poor baby was NOT able to pick himself up from out of a meltdown. We thought he's "work it out," but man, this 30lb toddler has quite the endurance and needed Daddy to walk over and pick him up and tickle him the whole way back to us...;)
What a difference a new rug makes! Loving this one!!!
Oh Monday, go away!!!
So, we all know how much Michael is obsessed with TOYS! Well, he's been on a kick for a Chubby Puppy (thank you, YouTube for sparking all these "must need" toy ideas in my five-year old) and so, we told him he needs to earn one by cleaning up after himself for five days. Well, Monday while I was walking by his room, I noticed this...he made his own bed without me asking. It just cracked me up and put a smile on my face:)
New sports goggles: check!
Cake pops while we wait for Sissy to finish at soccer: check, check!
Late afternoon latte for Mommy: CHECK!!!
Let me first say, that Tuesday nearly wore us all out! Hailey and Michael had dentist appointments and taking kids to the dentist, while attempting to wrangle entertain a two year old for two hours is less than my idea of a good time. However, a HUGE (and I mean HUGE) thanks to my parents who swung by the dentist on their way home from an appointment and picked up Grant for the rest of the time. Anyway, Hailey has had two bottom teeth that have been lose foreverrrrrr and we reallllyyyy needed to start Orthodontics like um, yesterday, so after her cleaning we were able to get those teeth taken out. She was so brave and we are all relieved that she no longer has "shark" teeth! We met with her Orthodontist on Friday and we go back this Friday to begin her "phase 1" treatment. Praying "phase 1" widens her tiny mouth and makes plenty of room for all her permanent teeth.
Later that day, this one was all ready to try out his new goggles:) Cutest, lil Bee around!

At least, the views are pretty during my morning "commute" to school. Gotta love crawling your way to school;/

Mikey wasn't there to join in on the fun bc he was at home and under the weather:( First day he's missed of school, this entire year.
...Grant is becoming quite the photographer. These two hams sure know how to entertain themselves in any situation!
#saturdays
Our hearts are SOO full, watching these two play sports all day Saturday. We often lay in bed Saturday night chatting about how much we loved watching them or how blessed we feel to have our family come cheer them on. We love our crazy, sports-filled Saturdays, jumping from one sports field to the next!
...and that my friends was our week. Well, add in a couple eye doctor appointments, an orthodontist appointment, and a 23hour turn-around trip to Washington DC for JP (hello, INSANE exhaustion...poor guy) and you have our week. It was a long one, no doubt!
