Tanaka Farms

This past Thursday, my long-time friend, Julie and I took our kiddos to Tanaka Farms. Hailey had a blast running through the pumpkin patch and looking at all the fresh vegetables growing right out of the ground. We rode the tractor to the other side of the farm, where we got to see the animals in the petting zoo.

Great weather, great company, great day!

Later that night when Justin got home from work, Hailey (as usual) went darting for the door to greet him. He always asks her to tell him about her day, so naturally I'm thinking she's going to tell him about the big pumpkins we saw or maybe about the tractor we rode. Nope. Apparently, the highlight (and only lasting impression) of her trip to the farm had to do with a goat and well...we'll just leave it at that;) I'm sure you get where I was going with that;) Ah, kids. No shame...no shame!
