a "secret" toy shopping spree with Daddy (Mommy had NO clue this went on). birthday parties galore (who knew January was such a BUSY month for birthdays!?). home projects continue. buddy is realizing that is stroller is pretty comfy and a nap often beats the boring shopping trips/runs Mommy takes him on. the front two rooms of the house begin to gain a "personality" with the arrival of some furniture.
MANY trips to the beach (too many to count and we LOVE it that way!!!). last minute dinner with good friends. trips to the pet store (again, buying myself time without have to actually buy my kids a pet). mommy and buggy hair do's. emmy's bday. buddy learning to escape from his carseat (NO, we were not actually moving). heart day decorations begin to find a place in their new home. kiddos find a "hang out" spot in the halfway constructed niche. sleepover with rach, followed by donuts in the morn.
All is well. Life is good.
