Anyway, a month that I really looked forward to is coming to a close in about seven and a half hours. It really has been a fun-filled, exciting month! Here's how it all went down:
- Celebrated my sister's birthday
- Received the exciting news that my ever-so-dedicated Dad completed his THIRD marathon of the year! AND he finished a couple minutes faster than his previous time, only two months prior! Talk about awesome!!!
- Attended our dear friends' annual Cookie Decorating Party...SO fun for our little kiddo!
- Celebrated with our friend, Melinda at her 3oth "surprise" birthday party
- Picked out/decorated our Christmas tree, together. As well as, pretty much decked out our house:) Goodness, I just love the warm, fuzzy feeling of seeing our house all "dressed up" for the holidays. I think there's nights when I just sat without the tv on and stared at how pretty everything looked.
- Spent oodles of time, teaching Hailey about the true meaning of the season! As a result, she now thinks she's naming her brother, "baby Jesus." ;)
- Found out that we are indeed going to be adding a BOY to our all-girl family
- Ventured out in the pouring (and I mean POURING rain) to Roger's Gardens with the rest of my crazy family. What a night that was!
- Got to meet one of my sweet friend's, new precious (and I mean precious) bundle of joy
- "Lunched" with a great friend
- Frantically "re-scheduled" a birthday party;)
- Finally, celebrated with Bug at her Candyland-themed party.
- Celebrated Hailey's THIRD birthday!!!
- Drove around many nights and "oohed and awed" over the spectacular Ladera Christmas lights.
- Watched The Grinch countless times, once "somebody" got over her fear.
- Was called into Hailey's room during the middle of the night to "chase" The Grinch out of her room;) See previous bullet-point for clarification.
- Attended Justin's work Christmas party at the Chart House in Newport Beach. Thank you, Amy, for watching after Bug for us!!! We had a wonderful, wonderful night out!
- Baked on Christmas Eve
- Spent the holidays with the people who we love most!
- Visited with our friends from NYC for our annual holiday breakfast!
- AND we are still enjoying every second of having Justin home for the entire week!!! Does he really have to go back to work???
WOW!!! What a phenomenal month!!!
